This is an example of an idea which might be very useful to your school.

It is a site which uses Wordpress, which is one of the most widely used blogging engines on the internet.  It will allow you to add text, pictures, sound and, in some cases, video.

We have just set up a site within the region to trial some of the web 2.0 technologies and this site is hosted on that site.

This site was quick to create, and it would be great to work with Booragul to show you and other users how to edit content on the site.  This is relatively easy and done from within your web browser from any computer connected to the internet from either school or home.

There’s no commercial agenda in this at all, as we are also rolling out trial Moodle installations for schools to use as “sandbox” environments.
