This is a fully clonable site. That is, it can be installed and customised to suit the needs of the individual school. It doesn't take long to do this. We can host this on our server for no charge to the school. You simply need to provide:
The site is set up to use email based self registration, with restriction to nominated domains. This means that this can be set so that only students with @education accounts or staff with @det accounts can set up an account and login. The site admin can check these on a regular basis. The expectation would be that, once the site is commissioned, it's all yours to own and operate and to encourage staff to use. It would also be hoped that you would take part in user group sharing sessions and, if comfortable, maybe share some resources etc via a site like schoolsite For links to a whole bundle of web 2.0 spaces running with Hunter Central Coast Region, check out | Skip Login LoginThe site is an example of an easily customisable installation which can be provided for Primary Schools within the Hunter Central Coast Region as a means of encouraging greater engagement with and use of web 2.0 tools and spaces within primary schools and classrooms.
