my blog reborn….and my opinion of Web 2.0 Tools in the interactive classroom

Out with the old blog. In with the new. This blog will now be a place for reflection and information for Web 2.0 and Digital Learning Tools.

I have come to realise in my 8 months of training staff in the usage of IWBs that using these free, interactive and engaging tools are just as important as using the IWB software itself.

Yes it can tkae tome to find a tool, but so is running around looking for cassette players, tapes, videos, big books that someone borrowed fromt he library last week. Why not just start building your own little supply through starting a Delicious account.

 I know many sites can be blocked at DET sites, but it really is easy to make a Service Desk call and unblock what you need. You can even request through written means these days. And, it doesn’t take much time anymore.

Please let me know of any sites you love to use, the bigger the list we can make that teachers in HCC use, the better it will be for everyone.
