Mathematicians in Schools Program

1

We were lucky enough to have a visit from our partner mathematician in the Mathematicians in Schools Program yesterday morning.

Dr Jarad Martin is a Radiation Oncologist from the Mater Hospital and uses advanced mathematics in his profession everyday. He gave students a range of problems to solve in small groups and assisted each group individually over the session.

The students had a great time and achieved some excellent results. Thank you Dr Jarad for giving up your time to inspire the OC kids and we are all looking forward to your next visit.
